Dear all! Been busy lately trying to adapt to my new life! Schooling and working is not something easy and i am amazed that my lazy self can balance between both. I think marketing and management are the most interesting modules then econs and accounting. I SUCK AT BOTH OMG! Work's as usual, boring boring boring and school kinds of spice things up alot more! Without delaying let me blog about my super overdue bangkok trip with #3slackers!

Impromtu trip to bangkok 1 week before the flight because we saw the offer on schoot $140 all in plus add on baggage so the usual very on 3 of us just booked and were ready to fly! P.S) Had my birthday party on the 3rd of may and flew at 6th of may! Actual birthday on 7th may hahaha so technically i spent my actual 21st in bangkok! BUT it burned my bank way too much because of the party and bangkok trip but no regrets yaw!!!!

Went for a week from 6th May- 12th May 2014, Stayed at glow pratunam hotel and the total bill lodging plus flight was around $400 plus if i'm not wrong! Super wortttth! And oh ya this time round instead of the usual boring photo blogging i always do and end up dragging 3 months to do a week's trip post i took lots and lots of videos and made them into a video travelogue! Took me almost a day to do the whole video but it's all worth it the video makes me smile whenever i watch it! Shall continue doing travelogue from now on~ Enjoy the video below! Day 1: 6th May 2014

Lucky that we stayed so close to each other and around 3pm we cabbed down to the airport for check in and all! Flight was at 5:30 by scoot and it did not delay this time round unlike my previous bangkok trip via the same airline. Coincidently took the same flight as my cousin shuhui haha how cool is that! Boarded the plane and realise that we got upgraded to their extra leg room seats was so thrilled! WINDOW SEATS! While the 2 girls spent their 2 hours in the plane playing games, i was reading the book i purchased on amazon for my kindle super love the gift by nadrah~ Time past quickly and soon we landed in the land of tom yum! BANGKOK~

Checked in to the hotel and it was really awesome this time and i was shocked at the staff that listened to my request! The previous trip with my family last minute my dad wanted to join so we had to add an extra bed like this but they gave us a bed that's sooo hard like sleeping on table! This time round i drafted an email to the hotel to request for the additional bed to be the same as the other 2! Believe me you'll tell me that the bed is the best you've lied on seriously! GLOW PRATUNAM ROCKS!

Slacked around and it was near 10pm bangkok time 11pm singapore time and all the malls are already closed so i recommended the girls to the awesome cart stall that sells awesome thai food for like $2 sgd only. Dabao-ed and this is one of the best dinner i had in bangkok every single day have to buy without fail!!!

Day 2: 7th May 2014

1st morning in bangkok! aaaaaand IT'S MY BIRTHDAY~~~ HAHA Actually nothing much felt that day actually as usual it feels like a normal day to me but just to be in a different place to celebrate my 21st is worth it~ Changed to my attire for the day and in my front pocket found a silver balloon from my birthday party! It's fate! The balloon traveled with me to bangkok to celebrate my actual birthday!!!!! Must be during the party preparations im way too busy running here and there and i forgotten to blow the balloon and it ended up in my pocket

Oh ya ginny is the most difficult person to wake up I SWEAR so we dragged quite some time before we can head down for our supposedly breakfast ended up brunch hahahahaha! Insisted on eating bkk's mac breakfast because of the porridge and the girls dont understand me at first but agreed with me in the end! It become one of our all time fav snack! Jiaying complained that it's not filling so we headed to the next stall with sells the bangkok famous wanton noodle. It's nice but i don't get the hype over it actually. The only thing to die for are the pork lards omg how i wish i can pack 1 luggage of lards back

Shopped at platinum mall for about 2 hours and we were already feeling the hunger! Stopped shopping, put our loots in the hotel and off we go to thong lor for our actual lunch! Arrived at this place called roast which is quite famous with the singaporeans i will definitely go back for the food and ambience! The whole stretch of thong lor has cafe style places so it's a great alternative to head there if you have nothing much to do in the day~

Love the treat from the girls! Big breakfast was awesome!!!!! Lazed around and decided to head over to a cat cafe which we eventually got lost and toured 1 hour around the whole area before actually finding the place and it was ALLLLL WORTHHHHH ITTTTTT. I can say the cat cafe was the highlight of my trip! Promised ginny who's afraid of any living animals that we'll only spend 30 minutes inside and we ended up inside for like 3 hours!! ahhahhahahah!

The only entrace fee was that we have to purchase something from cafe and the cakes are good! The cat cafe in singapore not only has to pay an entrance fee but have to buy stuffs from inside as well #bitch not gonna go there everrrrrr. Forced ginny to come in the moment me and jiaying were inside we knew we wont be out for at least a few hours

Finally trained back after a longgggggggggg time in the cat cafe it was all dark when we came out and too lazy and tired all of us decided to just grab takeaways for dinner (Did not took any photo) but my whole day today was planned and paid by ginny and jiaying! Good job girls for making my 21st such a memorable one!!

Went in to bath and when i came out jiaying was not in the room. Of course i asked and ginny said she went down to grab food. But in fact the girls wanted to surprise me in the room with a cake and all the places selling cake even starbucks were closed! Jiaying complained that she walked allll the way down far but has no shop selling cake so they got me an awesome chilli crab pie from mac! Very innovative and creative idea! (watch the video above!) Great day spent! Ended the night!

Oh ya have to talk about this! We were outside one of the shopping mall in thong lor and there's this free photobooth so we decided to just try! The girl helping us was sooooo friendly but the machine had some technical problems so the photo couldn't print out and we were like it's okay and walked off while she was apologising. Stopped by apple shop a few streets away and i was amazed she chased us alllll the way from her booth to the shop just to pass us this photo so touched man. AND THAT JIAYING LEFT THE PHOTOS IN THE HOTEL WTFFFFFFFFFFFF WE LOST THE PHOTO IN THE END ONLY GINNY KEPT HERS

Day 3: 8th May 2014

Totally woke up late today and it's the shopping around town area day! Bought mac breakfast up to the room and cabbed down to MBK mall straight after~ For me there's nothing much to shop there all the fake brands only but i managed to grab lots of naraya! When you're in bangkok just buy naraya even if you resell at higher price sure got people buy

Lunch at MK restaurant (obviously) it's a must eat there! Singapore has mk restaurants too but bitch the price is jacked up almost triple then the original. Ordered like nobody's business and like we never eat for 200 days but the total bill came up to around $40 sgd only cheap or what! The plate of mixed greens already cost $20 in singapore if i'm not wrong soooooo jacked up man!!!!

The girls decided to have their hair done in bangkok cause why not right spend 450 baht just for a hairwash for jiaying and ginny had both wash and cut costing 700 baht at the salon which says they are the number one which i highly doubt... Didn't want to spend 450 baht on hair wash but i gave in in the end seeing how silky jiaying's hair turn out in the end lol

Design exhibition by the design students! Super understand the hardship they've gone through to produe this kind of work man!!!

Went to siam paragon and immediately hunted for after you recommended by everyone who went there and i'm embarassed to say that after going there 4 time prior i did not even hear of this place. EVERYONE MUST GO EAT AFTER YOU DESSERTS IF YOU'RE IN BANGKOK! WILL NEVER NEVER REGRET! Highly recommend the shibuya toast FOR SHARING on the first day we ordered 1 of different kind to share and decided that shibuya toast was the best anyway and the next day we chanced upon another after you and ordered 1 per person. I did not even finish lololololol

Ended the night and back to the hotel to find our towel folded to the shape of a rhino!! Superrrr cute we didn't even touch it for the rest of the days too cute to destroy!! Loots for 3 days! Can see the difference ginny is the buy all the basics me is the buy everything crazy and end up not wearing and jiaying best she buy food like want to open shop in singapore.. SERIOUSLY MORE THEN HALF OF HER LOOTS ARE FOOD.. LIKE WHO BUYS BEEHOON OVERSEAS

Day 4: 9th May 2014

Brunch at platinum mall's fuji restaurant! Also highly recommend! Super affordable jap food that lives to it's standard! Continue shopping around platinum mall! We conquered the whole mall today! In order! The mall is so fucking big that you get lost even though you thought you're following the lanes correctly! Somemore got 2 mall!!! WE CONQUERED THE MALLLLL *CHEERS*

BTW comparing platinum, pratunam, chatuchak i got most of my clothes from platinum they always have the latest styles but the prices at platinum mall is always at the steeper side

Back to the hotel and we went crazy trying clothes super love the elephant print tribal pants? sooo comfy i will wear it to sleep ahhahaha! And we receive news that there's riot at central world area which me and ginny sigh in relief we dont have to visit that area (town area) anymore but this bitch jiaying die also want to go back to central world to use her credit card at topshop! SOOOO after much debating between us we decided to yolo and go anyway!

Day 5: 10th May 2014

Decided to try the hotel breakfast today! All in for the awesome bacon! 270 baht for the breakfast was totally worth it i had a very full breakfast for battle today: Chatuchak (it only opens on weekends)!!!! And we're all constantly refreshing and getting updates from friends and twitter on the riot situation and it seemed safe to go to chatuchak soooo we went!

Totally slacked and gymed before we go to chatuchak~ And the jiaying never die before she wanted to wear all red out and we force her to change because it's the supporter color for the riot never die before sia she

At chatuchak!!!!!!! Spent alooooot here toooo but the stuffs is more not in fashion compared to platinum mall but it's cheap so just BUY ALLLLL! Also the stuffs you must eat while under the scorching hot sun are the coconut ice cream (of course), the ice pops, milk tea, trying the street food and i highly HIGHLY recommend the fishcake omg so shiok i bought 2 packs for myself to devour way too hot and awesome!!

Shopped, shopped, lane after lane after lane, stopped here and there bought too much things as usual and as it hit about 4pm the sun and heat was way too much to bear we went back to the hotel to rest and prepare for night!

Jiaying's buys! Ginny of course went to sleep cause she's tooo lazy to move or anything but how can you sleep when you're all sweaty!! she's the only one that can fall into such deep slumber while the sun is still up (watch video YOU MUST) after many attempts to try and wake ginny me and jiaying gave up and went back to platinum mall on our own leaving her to sleep at the room alone lololol reason is i kept thinking of the 3 bags i die also want from platinum sooo forced jiaying to go back with me before it goes OOS! bags are my best buy for the whole trip man!

Night falls fast and we headed to our final planned itienary for the trip! TK Seafood at chinatown! Bustling as always the place and of course we ordered like no tomorrow! Crowded on a weekend so have to wait for quite some time before we were brought to our seats!

Ordered minced curry crab (not recommend), tom yum, fried rice, oyster omelette, king prawns and SHARKS FIN (must must must have if not in singapore you wont be able to find the real thing at such a cheap price) actually we ordered the sharks fin after we ate our dinner course because of my 1 comment: we need some dessert SO SHARKSFIN WAS OUR DESSERT HAHAH NEVER REGRETTED PAYING $20 FOR A HUGE BOWL OF THE REAL DEAL! Total bill came up around $50 plus i think all worth it

As we're preparing to leave, this chinese speaking thai uncle asked if we needed a cab he can drive us back so we hopped on~ He is sooo funny and friendly he sang and joked with us and it feels good to have a local that speaks chinese! He insisted on driving us to the tiger show which we 3 were like so confused we keep asking why got tiger show at night usually tiger shows are in the day right? he say where got tiger show in the day one and insisted that if we don't want to go in also nvm he uturn back afterwards... to our astonishment we realise when we reach that the "tiger show" was the ping pong show in bangkok SCARY SHIT don't dare to go out gooo google for pingpong show meaning but basically it's women who do stunts with their private parts

Asked the uncle to faster drive off and he didn't know tiger stands for tiger the mammal hahahahaha. To get back to our hotel we have to take this route that passes the riot zone and as we were passing there's so many locals wearing red holding bats like want hit anyone they see and a group of 3 teens came to us and tried to open the cab door and shouted us to go out the kind cab uncle hurried lock the door and drove off as fast as he can. Scary experience seriously!

Day 6: 11th May 2014

Chatuchak again! Last day before we leave tomorrow! Must shop all! We combed chatuchak, tooooo lazy to go somewhere far to get dinner ginny jiaying ordered room service which was surprisingly good and costs 200 baht only! While i had to get mac again i just can't get enough of mac! Promised myself to a magnum before i leave and it was a good indulgence to end our trip HAHAHA!

Loots for my 6 days here! Damaged $750 spent total including food cabs etc etc it's alll worthhhhhh! Best buys are my bags and shades my mum sat on the exact same shades i bought in my previous trip to bkk and it broke so this time i was glad i manage to find back the same pair! FAVSSSSS

We all spent $750 but it seems like i got the most man i can't even fit all on the bed had to take some out! Jiaying spent most on food and ginny i dont even know where the $750 go

Day 7: Last day in bangkok!

Had all the food we want to eat before leaving, i am already missing the crepes, wanton mee, mac and fried rice there already... Sad to leave but we were all penniless to spend more anyway hotel staff gave us late check out at 3pm, flight at 8pm we spent our leftover money for a massage! Super shiok it's a new massage place opened by glow pratunam hotel so it's just 1 floor below the hotel conceirge~ Spent 1.5 hours for the massage which costs 250 baht i think 45 minutes back and shoulder rub, 45 minutes on foot massage~ i will go back for the foot massage man totally shiok i fell asleep! Cabbed to the airport, check in and we are backkkkkk in singapore!
