*UPDATED 1 MONTH LATER LOL* Good morning everyone! 3 days to my birthday party so many things not done omggggg but really excited! OH YAAA I think the best birthday present that i gave myself was FREE TICKETS TO BAP LIVE ON EARTH SG 2014!! Joined a xinmsn contest and was one of the five winners that won! Treating meixuan this time round!! Let's parteh!! Without further delaying, here's day 3 of my hong kong trip!
Suppose to wake up at 7am!! But as usual our whole family dragsss and we only woke up at 10am lol! And our itienery was suppose to be "MACAU DAY" but sadly dad injured himself so we delayed it to tomorrow! So today is a stay around hotel area day haha! Nontheless we can't waste the day away! Prepared and headed out for breakfast!!
Brunch at "Kang Nian Cha Chan Teng" And was quite satisfied with my brunch! Although abit too much for a first meal but YOLO! I had milk tea on a super cold day while dad has hot milk tea and mum has ice lemon tea haha! Overhead the table beside us kept cursing mannn awkward lol
I had chicken wing noodle with their special house sauce which i think is the best among the 3 that we ordered! So much craves for it now! Mum had king prawns noodle which was nice tooooooo she ate it more then thrice throughout! Prawns are huge and juicy noodle is tangy and the sauce is good! Dad had pork rib noodle which he regretted so much lollll
One of the place with the nicest milk tea and bo lo bao!! I buy them every single day!
Mum was totally addicted to this prawn noodle for idk why she say it's bouncy and the prawns are juicy but i find it ok only ahaha she went back a few times to eat
Shopped around and of course must buy our fav pastries back to the hotel room! Mum and dad both fell asleep for a veryyyyyyyyyy longggggggg timeeeeee and poor me left with nothing to do so just eatttttt!
Finally after waking my parents and getting ready~ We quickly brainstormed on ideas to do because we have no plans! Wanted to roam around the area but my dad insisted that we go to wong tai sin temple which was not in our itienary but i wanted to go there anyway for a purpose hahahah
EVERYDAY ALSO RAIN!! But luckily all just short and small showers
Outside the temple spotted 2 trees that kind of look like sakura trees couldn't resist must take phoro with it!
We reached around 4pm and got advice by another local that the temple closes at 5pm so we hurriedly went in to explore around~
The 12 zodiacs greeted us at the entrance! Took photos with our own zodiac can you guess our age lololol
The lanterns hanging were all in unison and there's like so many of them which i guess it distinguishes the temple's features from others and only a few people were praying i guess because we're near the closing time. From photos i google online it seems like this temple attracts morning crowds.
Hidden at a corner a floor below i notice this string of red strings tied on them then i read the instructions and realise that this is the area for love, marriage, finding bf etc wah i wonder if it's true later i get a hk boyfriend hahaha but my dad dont let me try looll.ol
Red many reviews prior to coming and really really wanted to try fortune telling here not because i really wanna know my future. Just curious but my dad gave me a lecture on the spot tell me dont ever try this stuff even though i told him i wont believe it, which i probably will somehow. Lucly i did not anyway.
After we finsihed touring and my dad finish praying etc we wanted to take the MTR back to our area but my super perfect eagle eye spotted Hui Lau Shan at a shopping centre opposite. 3 days here and i kept worrying if i can't find this place but luckily saw it haha. This is probably the oldest HDB building that i saw during the trip
Went in with anticipation and excitement and it never failed me!! I had hui lao shan everyday after haha. After going back and forth back and forth with the menu, finally decided to order 2 mango desssert combo which comes with the mango shaved ice and carrot cake? Which i think is weird but actually it tastes good together! And also we ordered their mango mochi! ALL MANGO!

Shopped at the shopping mall only dad manage to buy a pair of sports shoe nike i think. We decided to MTR down to where ladies street is~ Bursting with night life and the place is full of people. SO many shops selling new balance shoe but not one caught my eye!
Was expecting to shop alot at ladies street from what everybody is saying that ladies street will give you a run for your money but... BUT.. me my mum my dad non of us got anything there.. Nothing nice all fake branded and we're not interested in fake brandeds haahhahaha
Walked around the area and i went into every sasa shop that i saw to find my laniege water bank essense and every store don''t carry them or is out of stock lucky i went into 1 near ladies street which has so eagerly grabbed 2 back 1 for glenys ahahhaha.
Ambitious us checked google map and it indicates that the distance between where we are and our hotel is like a 15 minutes walk only so we decided to walk............... And we walked for 30 minutes but still couldn't see or find any signs that we're reaching omg turn out we walked the other way instead! never trust google map again it doesn't work man seriously!! Too lazy to come out for dinner again and we chanced upon a KFC on the way back to the MTR (Yes we gave up trying to walk and took mtr instead lol) and bought a family meal for only $12 SGD freaking cheap
BACK AT THE HOTEL!! LOOK AT THE $12 ONLY FAMILY MEAL! 6 PIECE CHICKEN, 3 RICE, 1 CHIPS, 1 POPCORN CHICKEN, 3 CORNS AND 3 CUPS OF DRINKS! And they provide us with gloves so that's me being crazy for overly hungerness and ready to tuck in LMAO! But i suggest you not eat kfc there not nice.. No wonder only a few outlets haha
Washed up and rested for the night! Done with all the photos posting on my blog as drafts and i shall type and post everyday! Still got previous bangkok post haven't settle with my family, recent bangkok post with my friends, birthday party post and the most recent batam post lol i procrastinate too much!
